What Are Natural Flavours as Manufacturers Claim

Chemicals in Natural Flavours

You might assume that since some of these drinks are certified organic, the “natural flavors” would actually be natural. Well, their marketing teams would love for you to believe that, but I’ve had my doubts for years and have written about it extensively.

If you’ve been opting for organic sparkling water as a healthier alternative to sodas (which is a wise choice for this reason), it’s crucial to note that you’re likely consuming carcinogenic solvent residues. The results I’m referencing were produced by a legitimate third-party independent lab.

Moreover, there’s supporting research indicating that “natural flavors” can be addictive and neurotoxic for various reasons. In fact, they can even exacerbate ADHD symptoms to the point of behavior abnormalities. It seems that children are particularly vulnerable, as their little bodies may struggle to handle these toxins, which are discreetly packaged in innocent items like breakfast cereal and juice boxes.

To combat this, let’s turn our backs on these unethical brands with their toxic and unnatural “natural flavours.” Instead, opt for your favourite unflavoured sparkling mineral water (not owned by Nestle) and enhance it with a refreshing squeeze of Apeel-free lemon, lime, or another flavourful fruit.

In conclusion, avoid the coded language that attempts to conceal the use of seriously hazardous ingredients that no well-informed person would ever consume.
